Brief description of floating cranes

Floating cranes are extremely useful vessels that are used for many jobs of all kinds. Thanks to their construction on steel pontoons, they are mobile and allow equipment and materials to be delivered to places where traditional cranes are unable to do so. The use of such a crane is particularly important in shipyards, ports, on the open sea and in places where other means of transport are difficult to access.

Floating cranes are usually equipped with engines, enabling them to move independently. In such a situation, it is not necessary to hire additional units, such as tugs or pushers, to transport the cranes from place to place. In cases where floating cranes do not have their own propulsion, it is these types of units that come to the rescue, allowing the crane to be transported to where it is needed.
