Necessary powers
A backhoe loader operator's licence is essential for driving this type of construction machinery. Obtaining the licence requires passing a state examination, which is conducted by the Institute of Mechanised Construction and Rock Mining (IMBiGS). This exam is designed to test the candidate's knowledge and skills in the safe and correct operation of an excavator. After passing the exam and receiving a licence, the operator is authorised to drive the machine.
Requirements
The candidate operator must have:
- at least 18 years of age,
- minimum primary education,
- no medical contraindications (certificate from the occupational physician).

Brief description of the backhoe loader
Backhoe loaders are highly versatile construction machines that combine the functions of an excavator and a loader. They have a wheeled chassis with a medium-powered hydraulic drive, which allows them to move freely on site.
